    Da begynner det å bli veldig sannsynlig at Mitt Romney, som er svært populær i Utah, vil søke den republikanske nominasjonen.

    Det finnes ingen logisk grunn til at Trump skulle ville bytte ut Orrin Hatch med Mitt Romney. Førstnevnte vist en overraskende fjellstøtt lojalitet til Trump.

    Det er meldt om at Trump sterkt oppfordret Hatch til å søke gjenvalg. Men så er velgerne i Utah (inkludert republikanerne) nå gått lei Hatch.

    Mye tydet på at Mitt Romney uansett ville stille til valg. Og da ville han trolig også slått Hatch i det republikanske primærvalget. Så utsiktene til gjenvalg var ikke gode. Så det var nok best for Hatch å gi seg mens leken var god.
